Custom rubber extrusions are continuous profiles—seals, trim, gaskets, and tubing—formed by forcing uncured compound through a die, then cured in a steam, salt-bath, or microwave line. They are ideal for long, uniform runs on enclosures, doors, windows, and machinery. At Anlintech we extrude EPDM, silicone, NBR, neoprene, and TPE in solid, sponge, and co-extruded profiles with steel or fabric carriers.
| Material | Best For | Temp Range |
|---|---|---|
| EPDM sponge/solid | Weather, UV, outdoor, door seals | -50°C to +150°C |
| Silicone | High temp, food, medical, color-stable | -60°C to +230°C |
| Neoprene | Weather, flame, moderate oil | -40°C to +120°C |
| NBR | Oil, fuel-resistant trim | -40°C to +120°C |
| TPE | Recyclable, rigid-flex trim | -40°C to +100°C |
Dimensions and cell-structure requirements are defined by ASTM and ISO; we hold profile tolerances to ISO 3302-1.
For cured-property trade-offs across materials, see our EPDM vs NBR vs FKM and silicone vs EPDM guides.
After extrusion and cure we can splice profiles into frames (hot-air, microwave, or vulcanized joints), punch holes, and apply adhesive. For short runs or complex shapes, compare with molded rubber components and compression vs injection molding.
Solid profiles are dense and best for high-compression seals; sponge (cellular) profiles seal at very low closure force and suit uneven surfaces and doors.
Yes. Send a sample and we reverse-engineer the cross-section, then extrude a match in your chosen compound and hardness.
EPDM sponge is the standard for outdoor UV and weather resistance; silicone is chosen when temperatures exceed EPDM limits or food/medical contact applies.
Yes. We vulcanize or hot-air splice corners and ends into closed frames with joints matched to the parent profile.
